Our household would suit a postgraduate international student who wants to move in without having to set up a home and likes a quiet space. The bright, spacious room is fully furnished, containing a built-in wardrobe, double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and desk with a lamp. Sheets and quilt can be provided if required. The kitchen is fully equipped and there would be no need to purchase crockery, pots and pans or appliances. You will have access to a washing machine.

The room is in the top flat of a duplex building (only one other apartment downstairs) on a beautiful tree-lined street, with a lovely view over Coogee valley. It's a great location and an easy 10 to 15-minute walk to Clovelly and Coogee beaches. Only 10 mins walk to the local shops and to bus stops to Randwick, the city and Bondi Junction. 20-30 mins walk to Randwick.

You'll be sharing with Van, who works at UNSW, and Prabha, a couple in their 50s who have travelled extensively. We were both born in England and between us have lived in several countries including Spain, Greece, Japan and Indonesia. Van (English background) is a teacher and Prabha (Indian background) is a psychologist and we have shared our home with international students for several years.

Pumpkin, a female ginger cat, is also part of our household.

Rent is $285 per week (payable fortnightly) including internet and gas; electricity bills are shared; 2 weeks rent in advance and 2 weeks bond.
